Strategic Systems Programs Office FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST in Washington Navy Yard, District Of Columbia

Summary You will serve as a FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST in the PLANS AND PRORGRAMS DIVISION (SP10) of STRATEGIC SYSTEMS PROGRAMS. This position is part of the Department of Defense Civilian Acquisition Workforce Personnel Demonstration Project. The NH-4 broadband level encompasses positions equivalent to GS-14 and GS-15. Responsibilities You will act as the senior SSP policy lead for all external customer liaison activities to include Navy and OSD Echelon 1 organizations You will lead the update and sustainment of the SSP Financial Management Manual (FMM) and lead subsequent policy determinations working with all SSP personnel to include Headquarters and Field Activities. You will formulate policy determinations, conduct research, analyze findings, and identify/incorporate applicable implications of Department of Defense/Department of Navy/SSP policy and procedures. You will provide training to the SSP financial management community on Purpose, Time and Amount, Appropriations, Financial Management Regulations and DON financial policies. You will ensure compliance in all financial system implementations and business rules that include SSP's branch financial community, i.e. G-invoicing, E2E-REMIS, ERP, E2E-PR. You will liaison between Financial Improvement Audit Readiness (FIAR) and Financial Management and Budget/Operations/Systems. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NH-03 (GS-13) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Managing and implementing financial policies or training to ensure compliance, aiming to optimize organizational financial performance.
