CACI is seeking a Telecommunications Engineering Specialist (Senior) for one of our key DHS programs. The SETS II program provides services to design, procure, configure, implement, test, secure, accredit, operate and maintain an IT infrastructure for the St. Elizabeths campus.

Responsibilities include:

Develops, operates, and maintains VOIP network phone systems.

Works closely with vendors, users, and other network analysts, technicians, and system engineers to identify performance issues and schedule updates and patches.

Provides customer-facing support.

Reviews request to implement new or modify existing networks/phone systems and determines whether request warrants a full assessment.

Engages technical resources and assists technical and project management teams in the development of functional specification documents as necessary.

Coordinates network and phone testing and assists users with acceptance testing to ensure product being delivered meets project requirements.

Performs troubleshooting of VOIP network phone systems.

Design or configure voice, video, and data communications systems.

Supervise installation and post-installation service and maintenance. ---

Possesses and applies a comprehensive knowledge across key tasks and high impact assignments.

Plans and leads major technology assignments.

Evaluates performance results and recommends major changes affecting short-term project growth and success.

Functions as a technical expert across multiple project assignments.

May supervise others.

M ore About the Role

You’ll Bring These Qualifications

• Eight years of experience in telecommunications design, engineering, or testing.

• Knowledge of SAFe®, ITIL®, and industry best practices.

• Possess a current TS/SCI security clearance.

Must be a U.S. citizen

• Education and Experience Level: BA/BS degree with 8+ years experience.

These Qualifications Would Be Nice to Have

• Active TS/SCI security clearance.

• IT Certifications such as CCNA/CCNP Voice, Video, UCM

• SAFe® certified.

• ITIL® v4 equivalent.

The proposed salary range for this position is:

$94,400 - $198,300
