Amentum Systems Administrator in Washington, District Of Columbia

Amentum is seeking an experienced Senior Systems Administrator to join our team in supporting the Program Executive Office Integrated Warfare Systems (PEO IWS) 1.0 in their mission to develop, deliver, and maintain advanced integrated warfare systems and technologies that provide naval warfighters with decisive advantages. The Senior Systems Administrator will play a critical role in ensuring the success of the PEO IWS mission by providing support in the areas of program planning, execution, and control.

Responsibilities:

  • Systems administration experience with computer network systems and web servers, including experience with installation of hardware and software, overseeing network administration functions and network security, performing interface management, implementing network security tools pertaining to overall physical and system security, and maintaining compliance with the Cyber Workforce (CWF) directives and certifications

  • Collect, analyze, and report program performance data, including financial, technical, and schedule information.

  • Support program reviews and briefings by preparing materials and presentations, documenting action items, and tracking progress.

  • Identify areas for process improvement and implement solutions to increase efficiency and effectiveness.

  • Participate in cross-functional teams to support program objectives and ensure alignment with stakeholder needs.
