Reporting to the Corporate Director of Supply Chain and Purchasing Operations the Manager, Supply Chain Strategy and Capture will work with individual Programs and Capture teams as the corporate lead for all supply chain related proposal inputs. In this role you will have a seat at the table for all major proposal efforts within the company, with a focus on programs with large volumes of material content. In this role you will be responsible for obtaining all needed material quotes, and ensuring compliance with program needs, CACI policies, and Government T&C’s. This role will also be responsible for managing the company’s Supply Chain Risk Management program and will be responsible for supporting, and sometimes acting as the lead, for Small Business Subcontracting plan inputs. In this role you will regularly interact directly with senior executive staff and will be called upon to participate in internal proposal reviews held at all levels of senior and executive leadership.
More About the Role:
Some day-to-day activities may include:
Leading and executing Supply Chain Teaming Arrangements / Source Selection, including MOU’s, NDA’s, TA’s, and coordinating the need for MSA’s, etc
strategies and plans. Including leading the development of procurement strategies: i.e. OEM vs. VAR, Turnkey vs. Consignment, make/buy analysis, etc.
Conducting Supply Chain related analysis and providing Risk and Opportunity inputs to program and program teams. Including evaluating and understanding the details of program/proposed material/BOM Cost, such as long lead items, counterfeit parts, quantity break points, etc.
Strategic Hardware/Software Pricing inputs
Developing and implementing pre-award handoff planning to ensure successful program execution upon award.
Develop and monitor in coordination with the VP Risk Management, the CACI Supply Chain Risk Management Plan, including providing SCRM inputs in support of proposals.
Work with the Corporate Small Business office to develop and implement SB plans that meet or exceed program and company goals and objectives.
Provide competitive COTS Hardware / Software pricing, as needed.
Provide status and briefings to Supply Chain leadership on proposal status, issues and concerns, support needs, etc…
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Purchasing, Operations Management, Engineering, General Business, or related field.
5+ years of experience in procurement, supply chain, or related field.
Must have experience working Federal Government related proposals and have a strong understanding of the Federal Government proposal process.
Experience working in a manufacturing environment or supporting procurement or proposal support to manufacturing types of programs is a plus.
Experience working with product-based programs is a plus.
Previous experience working in a purchasing and/or subcontracts administrator role is a plus.
Having a working knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations (DFAR) is required.
Having a strong understanding of various contract types, including Cost Reimbursable, Firm Fixed Price and Time and Material types is required.
Knowledge of Costs Accounting Standards (CAS), pricing and project cost control is a plus.
Must have the ability to work in a team environment.
Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the company organization as well as other Industry and Government Representatives.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Software, specifically MS Word, MS Power Point and
Strong skills and negotiation skills with the ability to influence applicable stakeholders.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and procurement software.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
Desired:
- Certification in procurement or supply chain management (e.g., CPSM, CSCP) is a plus.

Since this position can be worked in more than one location, the range shown is the national average for the position.
The proposed salary range for this position is:
$67,100-$141,000
