Summary This vacancy is for a Supervisory International Trade Compliance Analyst in the International Trade Administration within the Department of Commerce. Responsibilities As a Supervisory International Trade Compliance Analyst, you will perform the following duties: Supervise staff, and direct administrative functions of a sensitive and highly visible nature, which supports the implementation and enforcement of the AD/CVD laws and other international trade programs and activities. Using knowledge of AD/CVD proceedings as they relate to international trade to direct complex administrative functions of a sensitive and highly visible nature, which support the implementation and enforcement of the AD/CVD laws and other international trade programs and activities. Oversee a program within the Enforcement Group in E&C's AD/CVD Operations unit that administers the antidumping and countervailing duty laws, regulations and programs. Communicate and present AD/CVD related and other complex issues, both orally and in writing; providing background and recommendation for action to senior officials. This Job Opportunity Announcement may be used to fill other Supervisory International Trade Compliance Analyst GS-1801-14 (full performance level GS-14) positions within the Department of Commerce in the same geographical location with the same qualifications and specialized experience. Requirements Conditions of Employment You must be a U.S. citizen to apply for this position. You must successfully pass a background investigation. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. To qualify at the GS-14 level, you must meet the specialized experience requirement described below. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: You must possess one full year (52 weeks) of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 in the Federal service. Specialized experience is defined as: Researching and analyzing investigative or compliance cases pertaining to the Antidumping (AD) Countervailing Duty (CVD) laws and preparing recommendations on their disposition. Interpreting and applying U.S. AD/CVD duty laws, precedents, policies, regulations and international trade agreements. Providing recommendations to senior management regarding U.S. AD/CVD laws, precedents, policies, and regulations. Independently coordinating and/or administering high priority AD/CVD cases.
