Senior Test Lead

Greater Washington, DC Area

Hybrid Position

EM Key Solutions seeks a Senior Test Lead to Direct and oversee security assessments, identify vulnerabilities, and ensure the system meets established security requirements. The Test Lead is primarily responsible for planning, creating, and executing manual and automated software test activities .

Duties:

  • Designing and assisting in building test automation architecture

  • Working with the business owner(s) to develop and implement related test plans/cases

  • Managing defects and proactively identifying risks to management

  • Performance Testing Expertise and Leadership: Possesses demonstrable expertise in performance testing methodologies and tools. Leads the design and execution of performance tests to assess system responsiveness, scalability, and capacity to handle anticipated workloads.

  • Automation Testing Management: Provides leadership and direction for the development, implementation, and maintenance of automated test scripts, aiming to improve test efficiency and coverage.

  • Security-Focused System Architecture Analysis: Evaluate the system architecture for potential security weaknesses and recommend necessary improvements to enhance the system's security posture.

  • IV&V Project Risk Management: Identifies potential risks throughout the IV&V process, develops mitigation plans to address them, and closely monitors progress toward risk resolution.

  • Software Reusability Verification: Ensures that reusable software components meet all functional and non-functional requirements for seamless integration within the system.

  • Test Result Management and Discrepancy Resolution: Oversees test results analysis, identifies discrepancies, and implements corrective actions to address them.

  • DevSecOps Evaluation Expertise: Contributes technical guidance and expertise on integrating security best practices within the DevOps lifecycle, promoting a secure development environment.

    Required Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in test automation using various testing methodologies for manual and automated testing, with one or more methodologies testing systems developed using Agile, Agile-Hybrid, DevSecOps, Scrum, Kanban, Lean, Rapid Ap,

  • Possess knowledge and or experience in:

  • Maestro (Jira, Confluence) and Test Management software, including Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) and software related to the MicroFocus Test Tool suite or other specified tools.

  • Quality Assurance, Automation/Performance

  • Application Development (RAD) and Test-Driven Development methodologies

  • 508 Tester (DHS Certified 508 Tester)

    Clearance:

    Public Trust or equivalent clearance is desired. Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
