FutureEd is a highly regarded national education policy center at the McCourt School of Public Policy, Georgetown University. The Senior Policy Analyst at FutureEd plays a key role in the creation, production and publication of FutureEd’s initiatives. Duties of the Senior Policy Analyst include but are not limited to:
Conduct research and writing publications for FutureEd.
Serve as a representative for FutureEd during media interviews and at conferences.
Manage the design and production processes for FutureEd publications and webinars.
Manage FutureEd’s website and social media platforms, including collaboration with FutureEd web and social media consultants.
Manage media relations, which includes managing mailing lists and collaborating with FutureEd’s communications consultants.
Collaborate with external partners.
Draft interim and final reports to FutureEd’s dozen foundation funders.
Track FutureEd readership and foundation deliverables.
Supervise part-time Research Associates.
Work Interactions
The Senior Policy Analyst reports to FutureEd’s Director, and works closely with the Policy Director, FutureEd Research Associates, FutureEd contractors, Senior Fellows, Research Advisors, the media, and a wide range of external partners.
Requirements and Qualifications
The Senior Policy Analyst requires:
A relevant Master’s degree (either completed or currently in progress)
A minimum of five years of experience in education policy
Proficiency in Stata, Microsoft 365, and Flourish
Work Mode Designation

The anticipated salary for this position is $85,000.
Pay Range:
The projected salary or hourly pay range for this position which represents the full range of anticipated compensation is:
$54,616.00 - $100,493.33
Compensation is determined by a number of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s individual qualifications, experience, education, skills, and certifications, as well as the University’s business needs and external factors.
