job summary:
The Senior Quality Control (QC) Analyst is responsible for ensuring that products and services meet predefined quality standards across various programs and systems, working closely with teams to drive continuous improvement and excellence. This role requires hands-on involvement in the quality control process, including testing, performance monitoring, and requirement verification, as well as collaboration with cross-functional teams such as architects, business analysts, and project managers. The Senior QC Analyst also plays a pivotal role in creating quality benchmarks, conducting root cause analysis, and enforcing standard operating procedures to meet the company's quality goals.

responsibilities:
Develop and implement standard operating procedures and metrics based on best practices.
Review and approve formal test plans and documented results.
Monitor and evaluate project deliverables for compliance with quality standards.
Conduct root cause analysis of technical issues and propose solutions.
Ensure that system requirements are met and verified.
Translate business and technical requirements into test cases, scenarios, and scripts.
Execute test scripts, document defects, and track testing results; prioritize issues based on severity.
Prepare and review documentation for all testing phases, ensuring adherence to requirements.
Suggest efficiency improvements within or between systems, particularly before implementation.
Lead and coordinate lab testing and related activities, working within a matrixed organizational structure.
Implement continuous improvement (CI) methodologies, focusing on waste elimination and operational efficiency.
Contribute to Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI) appraisal processes.
