KBR is seeking a Senior Information Systems Security Officer

(Position Contingent on Contract Award)

The position will be responsible for maintaining system security posture. Develop and implement information security standards and procedures. Provide tactical information security advice and examine the ramifications of new technologies. Ensure that all information systems are functional and secure.

Additional Responsibilities Include Supporting the Following Tasks:

  • Review authorization to operate (ATO), authorization to connect (ATC), and initial authorization to test (IATT) documentation.

  • Maintain and update the system security posture in accordance with approved ATO.

  • Ensure any open document actions are documented in the project plan and integrated master schedule to include a schedule for the submission of assessment & authorization packages.

  • Be responsible for conducting cyber vulnerability scans and report findings.

  • Update system documentation based on product updates, software updates and patches. Maintain record of all system security posture change. I.e., system design, security traceability matrix, authorization boundary diagram, system architecture, ports protocols and services, system backup and restoration and continuity of operations plan.

  • Maintain a body of evidence documentation to include user activity monitoring data.

  • Capture, building, maintaining and reporting IT related metrics.

    REQUIRED EDUCATION:

  • Undergraduate degree in either IT or relevant engineering degree

    REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

  • Possess administrator and Authorization & Accreditation-level experience with cross domain, UAM, and Windows/Linux systems

  • 7 or more years Assessment and Authorization experience with User Activity Monitoring and Enterprise Audit applications

  • Experience with Community on National Security Systems policy

  • Experience with policies related to cross domain solutions in the Sensitive Compartmented Information network domain.

  • Experience with various platforms to include Linux and Windows operating systems

  • Demonstrated ability to capture, maintain, and report key IT metrics

  • Must Be U.S. Citizen

  • TS Clearance w/ immediate eligibility for SCI access

    PREFERRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

  • Experience supporting the UAM/UBA insider threat systems

  • DHS work experience

    Basic Compensation:

    $115,000 - $175,000

    The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate’s working location, knowledge, skills, abilities and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity.

    Additional Compensation:

    KBR may offer bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation to certain job titles or levels, per internal policy or contractual designation. Additional compensation may be in the form of sign on bonus, relocation benefits, short term incentives, long term incentives, or discretionary payments for exceptional performance.
