Bully Pulpit Interactive Senior Financial Analyst in Washington, District Of Columbia

The Impact You Will Make
We are seeking an experienced individual to join our firm as a Senior Financial Analyst. As part of our finance team, you report to the Finance Director and support business operations through the gathering and analysis of critical business information and drivers. Your analysis supports operational and strategic decisions and has a direct impact on the execution of BPI’s short-term and long-term financial plans.
Location - DC (preferred) or New York, Chicago, SF (hybrid work schedule with an expectation to work onsite at least 3 days a week)
Salary - $90,000 - $105,000
Requirements
Overview. Support all company financial responsibilities, including monthly and quarterly financial analysis, monthly close, and budgeting processes.
Forecasts & Budgets. Drive financial forecasts, financial scenarios, and other data analysis to help make business decisions. Work with the CFO and business leads to build the annual budget. Compare anticipated and actual results monthly and annually and identify areas of improvement.
Financial Analysis. Own key operational analyses such as revenue projections, profitability reports, and efficiency initiatives. Study business trends to support recommendations to senior management.
Other. Support board reporting and transaction activity. Support the accounting team as needed with tax, time tracking, audit activities, and special projects.
Benefits
2-3 years of financial analysis, investment banking, or management consulting experience
Strong knowledge of accounting, financial statements, and financial modeling
Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills required
Experience with business intelligence reporting tools is not required but nice to have
Excellent organizational skills
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work well with all levels of clients and team members
Self-motivated and can work independently
