Position Description:

US CITIZENSHIP AND ACTIVE TOP SECRET CLEARANCE IS REQUIRED

CGI Federal is currently seeking Release Train Engineers with active Top-Secret clearances to support a large project for a federal government client. This position can be filled in Washington, DC or Huntsville, AL.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

• Possess a thorough and broad understanding of how SAFe Agile adds value to the organization.

• Demonstrate exceptional communication skills with employees at all levels and internal/external customers through presentations, negotiations, and written reports.

• Schedule, communicate, and facilitate the PI Planning event.

• Foster Continuous Exploration process for PI planning readiness by combining Vision, Roadmap, and backlog through Pre and Post PI planning Meetings.

• Consolidate Team PI Objectives into Program PI Objectives, visualize and publish roadmap for visibility and transparency.

• Influence and develop solutions that impact strategic project/program goals and business results.

• Collaborate with Product Management, Product Owners, and stakeholders to ensure alignment between strategy and execution.

• Support program level decision-making with work estimation and prioritization.

• Conduct regular program level meetings with Scrum Masters, PM, and PO.

• Assist in program execution and track completion of features and capabilities.

• Manage the identification, tracking, and resolution of program level risks, issues, and dependencies.

• Produce key program level metrics reports (e.g., cumulative flow diagram).

• Drive program-level continuous improvement through retrospectives, Inspect and Adapt workshops, and ongoing System demonstration at the program level.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Information Technology, or related discipline.

• Minimum of 8-10 years' experience as a Release Train Engineer.

• Thorough understanding of SAFe Agile practices.

• Strong integration skills, including the ability to coordinate and schedule large meetings.

• Strong customer service skills for developing and maintaining productive client relationships.

• Excellent communication skills for facilitating trainings to large groups and writing comprehensive responses to emails.

• Detail-oriented, flexible, proactive, and able to multitask to adapt quickly to changing client priorities and respond to ad hoc requests.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

• Quick learner of new business processes and systems.

• Critical thinking skills to analyze issues, evaluate solutions, and ask clarifying questions.

• Experience with Atlassian Software products (JIRA, Confluence, Service Desk, etc.)

• Active Top-Secret clearance.

Please note that US Citizenship is required for this government contract position.

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and license and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $85,800.00 - $209,100.00.
