Summary This position is located in the Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation's (PBGC), Workplace Solutions Department (WSD) Technology and Administrative Solutions Division (TASD). More than one selection may be made from this vacancy announcement. Responsibilities The candidate selected for this position will: Coordinate with the Records and Information Management program for the transfer of records to and from off-site records storage facilities and the National Archives and Records Administration (NARA). Ensure Records Management and Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) protection requirements and controls are considered in the development of new systems or enhancements of existing systems within Workplace Solutions Department (WSD). Manage the PBGC Corporate Documents (Board of Directors Meeting Minutes, Board of Directors Resolutions, Directives, Delegations, and Advisory Committee Meeting minutes and associated documents) collection, ensuring fair and equitable access to this collection. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications All qualification requirements must be met within 30 days of the announcement closing date. To meet the minimum qualifications for this position, you must meet the specialized experience qualifications and/or education for the grade at which you are requesting consideration. Specialized Experience: Applicants must have at least one year of specialized experience at the GS-11 grade level in the Federal service or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level in the private sector serving as a records coordinator or liaison in collaboration with the Records Officer, for a department or agency and maintain information for corporate documents program. Examples include: Coordination for the transfer of records to off-site storage facilities. Update and maintain file plans and procedures for a department. Assessing if data being maintained contains Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI). Maintain Directives, Delegation, and Board of Directors Resolutions. WRITING SAMPLE (REQUIRED): Each applicant must submit an original sample of their unedited presentation delivered to an agency or organization. The presentation should be Records and Information Management or Corporate Documents program related. Time-In-Grade Requirement: In order to be eligible for this position, all current Federal employees must provide proof of meeting the time-in-grade requirement (i.e., at least 52 weeks of experience at the next lower grade level in the Federal service). This information must be in both your resume and on an SF-50. Those who do not provide proof of having met the time-in-grade requirement will be deemed ineligible for this position. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
