We are seeking a Project Manager with expertise in SaaS/PaaS Delivery within an agile environment. This role will be responsible for leading strategic engagements across a portfolio of client projects. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of technology application knowledge, project planning expertise, and exceptional project management skills. Operating in a fast-paced and deadline-focused environment, the Project Manager will maintain composure, demonstrate leadership, and focus relentlessly on client satisfaction and team success.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Accountable for managing stakeholder relations, setting expectations, and ensuring the timely receipt of project deliverables

  • Work closely with stakeholders to align meeting cadences across calendars, set expectations, maintain the accuracy of named individuals within each project plan, ensure that all stakeholder deliverables and individual commitments are being met in accordance with each project plan

  • Coordinate cross-functional resources to fulfill the Statement of Work (SOW) commitments

  • Manage client relationships, ensuring open communication and progress on a daily basis

  • Analyze project scope, manage client expectations, and communicate any changes or adjustments

  • Develop project schedules and status reports as required by the client and organizational standards

  • Identify and escalate project risks and issues, engaging with the appropriate team members and stakeholders

  • Work closely with delivery project managers for up-to-date project status and immediate communication of risks

  • Track project budgets against actual costs, providing regular financial updates

  • Manage and mentor Jr Project Analysts

Required Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree and 4+ years’ experience OR Bachelor's degree and 2+ years’ experience OR In lieu of a degree, 5+ years’ experience of, relevant project management experience in managing multiple concurrent LCNC product and platform focused projects across various and asynchronous delivery lifecycle phases with individual project value over $5 million dollars each

  • Must have one entry level industry recognized cloud/cyber certification is required, such as Certificate of Cloud Security Knowledge (CCSK), Security+, Systems Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP), etc.

  • 3+ years of project management

  • Proficient in project planning, resource scheduling, risk management, and quality assurance

  • Written communication skills to provide actionable project plans, roadmaps, executive briefings focusing on outcome and impact

  • Verbal communication skills to clearly articulate project deliverables, timeline constraints, action items, next steps, escalation levers, and blockers to customers, support members, and third-party participants

  • Strong background in writing communications for actionable project plans, roadmaps, executive briefings focusing on outcome and impact

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Industry-recognized certifications in project management or specific technology platforms

  • Experience with Salesforce

  • Experience working on government projects

  • Background in a particular industry, such as healthcare

  • Excellent presentation and communication skills with diverse audiences, from technical experts to executive-level clients

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, including Project, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

  • Must be able to communicate both verbally and in written form

  • Must be eligible to work in the United States

  • Must have reliable internet service that allows for effective telecommuting

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a government security clearance

  • All work must be conducted in the United States

California, Colorado, Nevada, Connecticut, New York, New Jersey, Rhode Island, Hawaii, Washington, or Washington D.C Residents Only : The salary range for California, Colorado, Nevada, Connecticut, New York, New Jersey, Rhode Island, Hawaii, Washington, or Washington D.C residents is $104,700 to $190,400 per year. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
