Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation Management Specialist, CG-0301-11/12 in Washington, District Of Columbia

Summary This position is located in the Administration Unit, Labor, Employment & Administration Section, Corporate Operations Branch, Legal Division and provides direct support involving human resources management, financial management, and other administrative related services. Responsibilities At the full performance level, major duties include: Provides support to Legal personnel through the administration of programs such as space management, human resources, records, travel, procurements, facilities, and logistics. Generates and analyzes reports obtained through use of automated queries from the Corporate Human Resources System (CHRIS) on authorized staffing levels and other specialized reports which monitor staffing levels to meet workload requirements. Creates, maintains, and updates Unit SharePoint data. Provides guidance and oversight to Division employees and completes assignments to ensure compliance with administrative on-boarding and exit clearance requirements. Maintains the Unit's records management program by organizing and maintaining internal files on dedicated network drives. Maintains Division organizational charts and ensures accuracy on agency websites. Requirements Conditions of Employment Registration with the Selective Service. U.S. Citizenship is required. Qualifications Qualifying experience may be obtained in the private or public sector. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic, religious/spiritual; community; student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. At the CG-11: To qualify, applicants must have completed at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the 09 grade level or above in the Federal service. Specialized experience is defined as experience in personnel and administrative program operations related to at least three (3) of the following areas: human resources, time and attendance, performance management, space and facilities management, procurement, and producing reports and conducting data analysis. OR Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree; or 3 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree; or LL.M., if related. OR A qualifying combination of Specialized Experience and Education. At the CG-12: To qualify, applicants must have completed at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the 11 grade level or above in the Federal service. Specialized experience is defined as experience in personnel and administrative program operations related to at least four (4) of the following areas: human resources, time and attendance, performance management, space and facilities management, procurement, and producing reports and conducting data analysis. Applicants must have met the qualification requirements (including selective placement factors – if any) for this position within 30 calendar days of the closing date of this announcement.
