Koniag Emerging Technologies LLC is seeking a highly accomplished Justice Advisor Level IV to provide senior-level subject matter expertise and management expertise in the field of justice, legal systems, and public administration. This advanced role requires a bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in international relations, law enforcement, public policy, or a related field (or ten years of professional law experience as a substitute), as well as twelve to eighteen years of experience related to the legal profession, courts, criminology, and/or public administration, including experience in briefing in English. Candidates must have demonstrated experience working overseas in an Embassy environment and three years of specialized experience in areas such as criminal investigation, prosecution, judicial roles, or defense attorney.
Essential Functions, Responsibilities & Duties may include, but are not limited to:
The Justice Advisor Level IV will be responsible for the following tasks:
Provide senior-level subject matter expertise in program planning, designing, technical assistance, and implementation related to justice, legal systems, and public administration initiatives.
Provide senior-level management expertise in specialized fields of expertise, as well as functional and technical expertise to lead complex, large projects to deliver client solutions and/or manage operations of multiple projects.
Leverage high-level expertise and ability to solve complex and unusual managerial issues while exercising independent judgment.
Assist senior leadership in the development of program strategies and implementation related to justice, legal systems, and public administration initiatives.
Ability to work effectively under pressure within short time constraints and during times of rapidly developing events.
Utilize extensive experience working in international or peacekeeping missions and/or related international development activities.

Requirements:
Education:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in international relations, law enforcement, public policy, or a related field (or ten years of professional law experience as a substitute).
Work Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Twelve to eighteen years of experience related to the legal profession, courts, criminology, and/or public administration, including experience in briefing in English.
Demonstrated experience working overseas in an Embassy environment.
Three years of specialized experience depending on the position (e.g., criminal investigator, prosecutor, judge, or defense attorney).
Knowledge of and skill in the correct usage of English grammar, spelling, punctuation, capitalization, and style.
For a position in the U.S., must be a U.S. Citizen or legal U.S. resident; for a position outside the U.S., any citizenship (U.S., Third Country National (TCN), and Local National (LN)) is allowable.
The Justice Advisor Level IV plays a crucial role in providing senior-level subject matter expertise and management expertise in the field of justice, legal systems, and public administration.
The successful candidate should have an extensive background in the legal profession, courts, criminology, and/or public administration, with substantial experience working in international or peacekeeping missions and related international development activities.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in English are essential for success in this role, along with relevant overseas experience in an Embassy environment and specialized expertise in areas such as criminal investigation, prosecution, judicial roles, or defense attorney.
