Amentum Jr. Business Financial Analyst in Washington, District Of Columbia

Amentum is seeking an experienced Financial Systems Analyst to join our team in supporting the Program Executive Office Integrated Warfare Systems (PEO IWS) 1.0 in their mission to develop, deliver, and maintain advanced integrated warfare systems and technologies that provide naval warfighters with decisive advantages. The Financial Systems Analyst will play a critical role in ensuring the success of the PEO IWS mission by providing support in the areas of program planning, execution, and control.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with applicable Business Financial Managers (BFM), OPNAV sponsors and Field Activities to ensure required current

  • and out-year T&E funds are identified and entered into the appropriate financial management system.

  • Provide detailed financial status reporting material for each IWS 1TE area of funding (to include current and future funding

  • projections),up-to-date test event cost estimates with actuals to include documenting rationale for differences, as well as sponsor funding

  • allocation status and concerns or projected impacts to funding requirements.

  • Maintain monthly financial metrics and have an understanding of risks and impacts associated with any failures to meet FMB

  • benchmarks and thresholds.

  • Participate in Financial Budget Reviews assisting the Government in addressing T&E interests and support in POM Cycle Inputs.

  • Conduct evaluations of usage data, projected requirements and financial data to determine aircraft costs, potential cost savings and

  • efficiency opportunities.

  • Provide technical, scheduling coordination, usage reports and financial administrative support for CAS contracts that are managed by

  • PEO IWS 1.0 including external departments (e.g. DOI) as required, as well as provide financial reports for all IWS 1TE CAS contracted

  • aircraft.
