Our client is a nonprofit organization with a great mission behind them! They are currently looking for an HR Generalist to join the team during this busy period. The HR Generalist is charged with implementing strategies to identify, recruit, and retain highly talented staff. This includes administration of a domestic and international benefits and compensation program. This will be a hybrid position, 3 month long contract (potential to extend). salary: $24 - $28 per hour

shift: First

work hours: 9 AM - 5 PM

education: Bachelors

Responsibilities

  • Administer the annual performance management program and develop new systems and approaches as needed.

  • Coordinate and administer benefits program for the organization including evaluating and working with brokers and vendors.

  • Maintain systems for consistent compensation structure including salary surveys and market research for various global locations.

  • Implement efficient and effective workflow processes for HR services (including inclusive recruitment strategies, on-boarding, internal transfers, departures, etc.).

  • Audit and checks and balances to ensure efficient use of HRIS.

  • Work with the Learning and Development team to implement strategies for effective staff professional growth and development.

  • Provide training to staff in the US and country offices.

  • Provide support and participate in addressing performance or misconduct concerns.

  • Play a central role in the organization's efforts to model our values and be culturally savvy in our internal and extremal interactions and undertakings.

  • Oversee personnel records management and liaise with finance staff on payroll changes.

  • Stay abreast of best practices in compensation management, talent recruitment, onboarding and development, and regulatory compliance and HR policy.

  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and policies and practices.

  • Support regional generalists when needed.
