The historicWashington Hilton (https://www.hilton.com/en/hotels/dcawhhh-washington-hilton/)is seeking a Food and Beverage Managerto join their team! This 1107-room property is within blocks of Dupont Circle and Adams Morgan, with The White House and National Mall less than two miles away!

This position will oversee both the breakfast service (buffet and a la carte) as well the coffee shop and 15-20 hourly union team members. The ideal candidate for this role will have 1 to 2 years of high-volume breakfast restaurant experience, preferably in a leadership position. We are looking for someone who has high energy, who knows how to charm guests before they've had their morning coffee!

Shift Pattern: candidates should be available to work bothAM and PM shifts flexibly, any day of the week/weekends/holidays as needed

Salary: The annual salary range for this role isbetween 60,000 and 70,000and is based on applicable and specialized experience as well as location

What will I be doing?

As a Food and Beverage Manager, you would be responsible for directing and organizing the activities and services of a hotel food and beverage outlet (restaurant, lounge, room service, coffee shop, etc.) in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

• Directs and organizes the activities of the Food & Beverage departments to maintain the high standards of food and beverage quality, service and marketing to maximize profits through outstanding customer service
• Plans and directs the functions of administration and planning of the Food & Beverage department to meet the daily needs of the operation
• Implements effective controls of food, beverage and labor costs
• Ensures compliance with health, safety, sanitation and alcohol awareness standards
• Helps ensure high standards of food and beverage quality, service and marketing to maximize profits and ensure outstanding customer service
• Interviews, trains, supervises, counsels, schedules and evaluates staff#LI-GL1
