Position Overview

The Finance Business Partner, Digital and eCommerce is the business partner to Autodesk’s Digital and eCommerce (DEC) leadership team. Reporting to the Senior Finance Manager, Digital and eCommerce, this role will be responsible for forecasting and planning Autodesk’s Digital Channel – a fast growing segment at Autodesk that is on pace to drive over $1 billion in billings.

The ideal candidate must effectively partner with business leaders, be capable of working at different levels throughout the company, and have a proven track record of building and improving complex financial models. This is a highly strategic role that is expected to build strong working relationships with the business, build efficient processes and models, and drive actionable insights that lead to measurable impacts on the business.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with the Digital and eCommerce teams to develop short and long term models to forecast the business and understand our digital go to market motion

  • Interface with GTM Finance leaders and other finance teams on key financial, process, and business issues

  • Build strong, collaborative relationships with key business partners across Digital and eCommerce, Product-Led Growth, Lifecycle Marketing, Product and Sales to build cohesive insights

  • Develop financial frameworks to help drive strategic business decisions, provide insight into ROI, and track progress against our strategic goals

  • Provide financial analysis, strategic insights, and operational support for Digital Sales initiatives and new business models

  • Drive successful business outcomes by being a true partner to the business in proposing ideas and finding opportunities

  • Lead ad hoc projects in support of business initiatives

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor in Finance preferred; MBA or CPA a plus

  • Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience with finance or business analysis background

  • Ability to adapt to a complex and changing environment

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage tight deadlines

  • Concise communication and the ability to influence Autodesk leadership

  • Prior experience in a technology/software/SaaS company, consulting firm, or investment bank is a plus

  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint. Understand SAP, Anaplan, Power BI, SFDC and other financial systems. Knowledge of SQL and Python a plus

Salary transparency

Salary is one part of Autodesk’s competitive compensation package. For U.S.-based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $107,400 and $173,800. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range. In addition to base salaries, we also have a significant emphasis on annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
