You are:

A Litigation and Investigation Counsel who will report to the Lead Counsel for Litigation and Corporate Investigations. You will conduct internal investigations, including matters related to: legal, regulatory, and policy compliance; employee misconduct; and security matters. Support company responses to government investigations. Manage and oversee litigation and dispute matters, including claims, litigation, and bid protests. You will support internal functions, including Security, Human Resources, and Employee Relations in resolving matters involving legal and reputational risk, including personnel misconduct matters. You will provide advice and recommendations to legal and business stakeholders for appropriate matter resolution.

The Work:

• Conducting comprehensive internal investigations, including developing and executing investigation plans, interviewing personnel, collecting and reviewing documents, conducting legal and policy analysis, developing recommendations, briefing stakeholders, and supporting implementation of corrective actions where needed

• Advising on federal government contracts disputes and regulatory compliance, including matters involving the False Claims Act and FAR Mandatory Disclosure Rule

• Managing litigation matters, including e-discovery and data preservation activities and developing strategic recommendations for business management to evaluate and minimize legal and reputational risks to the company

• Overseeing and directing outside counsel and external vendors, including managing budgets and workplans

• Coordinating with corporate communications and government relations functions to provide legal advice and ensure appropriate risk mitigation

• Supporting and promoting a culture of ethics and compliance

• Implementing investigations best practices, including practices to support a diverse and inclusive environment

• Tracking matters/concerns, investigations, and outcomes

Here's What You Need:

• U.S. Citizenship required

• Juris Doctor and eligibility for admission as Virginia corporate counsel

• 5 or more years of legal experience

• Experience as a litigator or investigator in a law firm, corporation, or government setting

• Excellent judgment and ability to drive fair resolutions in litigation and investigation contexts

• Experience performing investigations and implementing appropriate remediation

• Strong understanding of regulations governing U.S. federal government contracting

Other required skills:

• Ability to foster a collaborative working environment

• Executive presence

Bonus Points:

• Experience supporting personnel misconduct investigations

• Experience with federal government investigations

• Bid protest experience

As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides reasonable ranges of compensation for hired roles based on labor costs in the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, New York, Washington, and the District of Columbia . The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set and level of experience. The pay range for the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, New York, Washington, and the District of Columbia is:

$135,400—$282,300 USD
