Job Summary:

We are looking for a talented and experienced Director of U.S. Digitalization & Innovation Communications to lead our efforts in effectively connecting the dots of our digital, innovation, and technological initiatives and telling a compelling story, both internally and to external audience. The ideal candidate will be a deeply knowledgeable strategist responsible for developing and executing comprehensive communication activities that enhance our brand reputation, engage stakeholders, and support business objectives in the U.S. The Digitalization & Innovation role will execute communication activities that support the company’s technology, innovation, digitalization, and cyber security agenda. This role requires a deep understanding of technology and exceptional communication skills to effectively convey complex technical concepts to diverse audiences. The role will also leverage communications to contribute to a strong environment for market growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic 360-degree communication plans to support corporate goals and initiatives focused on Digitalization & Innovation in alignment with relevant U.S. and global teams.

  • Help inform the creation of compelling messages and content for various channels, including press releases, social media, landing pages, internal communications, and executive speeches.

  • Monitor and analyze the national conversation and competitive landscape around Digitalization, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.

  • Serve as the primary representative to support technology-related communications both internally and for industry events, conferences and media engagements.

  • Monitor and analyze industry trends, competitor activities, and media coverage to inform communication strategies,

  • Collaborate with cross-functional and cross-business teams, to ensure accurate messaging and consistent alignment with overall Siemens communications strategy.

  • Measure the effectiveness of communication strategies and campaigns, using data to drive continuous improvement.

Basic Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field.

  • 10+ years of experience in technology communications, corporate communications, public relations, or a similar role.

  • Solid understanding of digital transformation within highly matrixed organizations.

  • Ability to identify, assess, and collaborate on new technologies and digital solutions to improve business and market growth.

  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful communication strategies for technology companies.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Proficiency in using communication tools and platforms, including social media, content management systems, and analytics tools.

  • Strong interpersonal skills and building relationships with stakeholders at all levels.

  • The pay range for this position is $94,600 - $162,300 and the annual incentive target is 15% of the base salary. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
