Hogan Lovells Attorney Talent Coordinator in Washington, District Of Columbia

Talent Management and People Development

  • Coordinate integration and onboarding efforts for first year and lateral attorneys, working closely with the Associate Recruiting team and practice groups to facilitate a successful transition into the firm.
  • Manage the ongoing integration of first-year associates, with a focus on the DC Development Program.Includes coordinating collaboration and ongoing integration efforts across HL Learn, Attorney Talent, Associate Recruiting and DEI.
  • Support the feedback and review processes (HL Dialogue) for legal personnel, including specialists and attorneys.
  • Administer the Six-Month Integration feedback process for new joiners.
  • Provide administrative support to the attorney offboarding process, including coordinating attorney exit interviews and working with the Attorney Talent team to report on results and trends.
  • Support engagement and retention efforts, including but not limited to: coordinating the mentoring program, survey management and tracking, and stay interviews. Support initiatives to maintain and build morale and increase associate engagement and satisfaction. Work with the team to coordinate associate events and programs, from planning to logistics, including working with vendors and resources.
  • Support the budget development and monitoring
  • Rerunning reports and maintaining and updating departmental databases and records, as appropriate.

General

  • Collaborate with the People team and members of other Business Services departments to suggest initiatives designed to enhance the day-to-day work environment of our attorneys.
  • All members of the firm are encouraged to participate in our Global Citizenship program.
  • Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education/Experience

  • Bachelors degree preferred
  • One - three years of relevant experience, ideally in a law firm, in talent, professional development, recruiting, or human resources.

Required Skills

  • Proficient with software applications and technology, including MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other technology as adopted by the team. Experience with WorkDay a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
