What you will do

Let’s do this. Let’s change the world. In this vital role you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing solutions using the MuleSoft platform to connect various systems within the organization. Your role will involve improving the capabilities of MuleSoft integrations, maintaining existing integrations, driving integration design discussions and ensuring best practices are followed in integration processes. Your strong programming skills, problem-solving abilities, and attention to detail will contribute to the development of robust and scalable software solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop APIs using MuleSoft Anypoint Platform to connect enterprise applications, data, and devices.

  • Ensure API solutions are scalable, maintainable, and follow best practices.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

  • Implement sophisticated strategies for gathering, reviewing, and analyzing data requirements.

  • Prioritize, assign, and implement tasks throughout the SDLC.

  • Develop high-quality and fully performing software that complies with coding standards and technical design.

  • Write and execute unit tests, and conduct integration tests to ensure quality and functionality

  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize MuleSoft applications.

  • Provide support for existing integrations and tackle issues as they arise.

  • Update integration components as needed to accommodate changes in underlying systems.

  • Document the design, management, and operational aspects of implemented solutions.

  • Train junior developers and team members on MuleSoft technologies and best practices.

  • Participate in project planning sessions with project managers, business analysts, and team members to analyze business IT requirements.

  • Lead small projects or segments of larger projects, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met.

Basic Qualifications:

Master’s degree

OR

Bachelor’s degree and 2 years of software development experience

Or

Associate’s degree and 6 years of software development experience

Or

High school diploma / GED and 8 years of software development experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of experience in MuleSoft or similar integration platforms like Dell Boomi, Apache Camel, etc.

  • MuleSoft Certified Developer - Level 1 (Mule 4) preferred!

  • MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, API management, and ESB.

  • Knowledge of SOA design principles and standard methodologies in API development.

  • Experience with REST and SOAP web services.

  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools and methodologies!

The expected annual salary range for this role in the U.S. (excluding Puerto Rico) is posted. Actual salary will vary based on several factors including but not limited to, relevant skills, experience, and qualifications.
