Key job responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive search marketing strategies, including goal-setting, budget allocation, channel prioritization, and performance tracking

  • Manage the end-to-end execution of paid search campaigns, including keyword research, ad copy creation, bid optimization, and campaign performance analysis

  • Lead the organic search engine optimization efforts, including on-page and technical SEO, content strategy, link building, and search visibility monitoring

  • Collaborate with the content, creative, and e-commerce teams to ensure search-friendly, conversion-optimized user experiences across Amazon Autos touchpoints

  • Leverage data, customer insights, and competitive intelligence to continuously refine search strategies and tactics for maximum impact

  • Track and analyze search marketing performance metrics, such as traffic, leads, conversions, and return on investment

  • Manage a team of search specialists and external agencies/partners to ensure seamless execution and exceptional results

  • Stay up-to-date on search engine algorithm updates, industry trends, and emerging search marketing best practices

  • Partner with central teams to establish a strong affiliate marketing program for Amazon Autos

  • Optimize affiliate tracking, attribution and commissioning through rigorous testing with central team

Basic Qualifications

  • 6+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience

  • 6+ years of developing and managing acquisition marketing or channel programs experience

  • Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements

  • Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)

  • Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional marketing programs

  • Experience developing and executing campaigns across a multitude of timezones and languages

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience driving direction and alignment with large cross-functional teams and agency partners

  • Experience designing and executing joint marketing plans with strategic alliance partners with global footprint

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $106,400/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
