Those in Alliance at PwC will be responsible for establishing partnerships with companies to better serve our client’s needs. You will build relationships to complement PwC’s strategy through execution capabilities that allow PwC to deliver multi competency programmes and solve client’s most critical business issues. Working in this area, you will develop and execute the strategy and business plan, focus on market penetration and revenue growth, and identify opportunities for solution development and industry alignment. You will also build relationships with key Alliance executives, identify synergies between the technology and the Firm and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

The Google Alliance Manager within the Alliance & Ecosystem team at PwC is pivotal in cultivating and managing strategic alliances that amplify PwC’s client service capabilities. This role involves creating, collaborating on, and supporting joint go-to-market business plans with alliance partners, aligned with PwC’s strategy to deliver multi-competency solutions for clients' key business challenges.

Demonstrates extensive abilities with, and/or a proven record of success managing full alliance lifecycle activities to support the growth of strategic Alliance partnerships that deliver long term value and revenue, such as:

  • Act as the primary day-to-day contact between PwC and alliance partners, facilitating effective communication and collaboration to articulate value propositions, align operational strategies, and identify joint opportunities to achieve successful partnership outcomes;

  • Support and participate in key interactions between PwC and alliance senior executives and account teams, such as quarterly business reviews, joint business planning sessions, demand generation activities, and client pursuits, ensuring focused and actionable outcomes;

  • Collaborate with alliance sales, GTM, and product teams to support the development of joint business strategies and go-to-market plans aligned with PwC’s growth objectives;

  • Assist in identifying and supporting new areas of collaboration and growth within the partnership;

  • Participate in annual and ongoing strategic planning sessions with alliance and Firm leaders, driving alignment and adaptability to evolving market needs;

  • Build and maintain working relationships with alliance stakeholders by understanding organizational structures, key priorities, and relationships with PwC, competitors, and joint accounts;

  • Maintain relationship maps and assess relationship strengths/weaknesses to develop actionable business and account plans that improve strategic relationships over time.

  • Provide relationship assessments with Firm Sector and Account teams to support joint account planning;

  • Collaborate with PwC and alliance marketing teams to execute marketing and demand generation activities that enhance visibility and pipeline opportunities for joint offerings;

  • Drive tactical execution of demand generation and marketing activities, focusing on increasing market visibility and revenue for joint offerings by fostering key relationships, enhancing joint pipeline and qualified opportunities, and advancing deals to wins.

  • Participate in alliance joint cadences and coordinate pre- and post-execution plans for events such as sales QBRs, sales kick-offs, joint webinars, industry conferences, client roundtables, and signature events;

  • Track and report on campaign effectiveness and ROI to leadership;

  • Collaborate with PwC Sector and Account teams to ensure coordinated planning and execution of alliance plans;

  • Understand PwC Sector and account priorities to align alliance plans and influence sector and account strategies effectively;

  • Assist in planning and delivering joint enablement sessions for internal and alliance stakeholders to enhance their understanding of each organization’s products, services, and capabilities;

  • Create tailored enablement materials and coordinate their delivery to align with training objectives, improving the ability of both organizations to sell and deliver joint solutions effectively;

  • Track and report on key performance metrics, such as joint pipeline progress, revenue generated, and the effectiveness of joint initiatives, to inform insight-driven decision-making;

  • Participate in compiling performance reports, scorecard development, and performance readouts for leadership;

  • Identify potential risks and support mitigation efforts to preserve trusted relationships and minimize operational disruptions;

  • Support process improvements across alliance operations to ensure consistent standards of efficiency and quality;

  • Support and lead cross-functional teams to drive collaboration, inclusivity, and the successful execution of complex, large-scale initiatives in a dynamic environment;

  • Provide feedback and contribute to team development, encouraging diverse perspectives and promoting continuous improvement;

  • Monitor alliance-related industry trends and competitive landscapes, applying insights to improve operational planning and strategic positioning;

  • Maintain knowledge of alliance partner offerings and technological advancements to articulate business benefits effectively to PwC teams and clients;

  • Coordinate resource allocation and project workflows to support alliance activities while ensuring alignment with budgets, billing, and collections to achieve operational objectives;

  • Work with leadership, Legal, and Risk teams to facilitate the creation and maintenance of alliance agreements, ensuring compliance with partnership goals and firm standards;

  • Demonstrate strong abilities in preparing comprehensive written materials and delivering executive-level communications;

  • In-depth understanding of the advisory and consultancy landscape;

  • Experience integrating partnerships as a strategic GTM lever and working towards partner revenue goals;

  • Demonstrate success in building and nurturing win-win alliance relationships;

  • Proven networking and influence management skills that translate into building commitment and driving actions across organizational boundaries;

  • Possess excellent organization and project management skills and track record of delivering results and be a credible communicator;

  • Exceptional consultative and interpersonal skills that have resulted in business relationships of impeccable trust, confidence, and results, often exceeding several million dollars; demonstrated superior ability to develop and lead relationship building activities with C-Level executives;

  • Demonstrate a thorough level of knowledge utilizing Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint;

  • Demonstrate a thorough level of knowledge utilizing CRM systems (Salesforce) is an asset;

  • Synthesize large data sets into actionable insights that inform strategic planning;

  • Ability to travel up to 30%; and,

  • Ability to travel internationally when needed.

The salary range for this position is: $73,000 - $240,000, plus individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. For roles that are based in Maryland, this is the listed salary range for this position. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws.
