Nemean Solutions, LLC is looking for an Administrative Support Officer (OCCH).

Background:

The United States Army Chaplain Corps builds Army spiritual readiness to deploy, fight, and win our Nation's wars, by providing reliable and relevant world-class religious support, as a unique element of the Army that is fully engaged across the full spectrum of conflict. The Office of the Chief of Chaplains, (OCCH) provides religious services and support to the command as an instrument of the U.S. Government to ensure that Soldiers' religious "free exercise" statutory rights are protected.

OCCH provides leadership to the Chaplain Corps and exercises technical supervision over chaplains, Religious Affairs Specialists, directors of religious education (DREs), religious activities, and religious support operations throughout the Army. OCCH is supported by the Strategy, Plans, Policy and Resources (SPPR) Directorate in the Pentagon, the Strategic Initiatives Group (SIG) at Fort Hamilton, NY, and the Religious Support Operations Center (RSOC) at Fort Jackson, SC. The USA-IRL represents the Field Operating Agency (FOA) the Chief of Chaplains intends to establish at Fort Jackson. The USA-IRL will be one entity, with four organizational elements-the RSOC, the Religious Leadership Academy (RLA), the Graduate School for Army Chaplain Corps Professional Development (GSACCPD), and the Non-Commissioned Officers Academy (NCOA)-which will operate under the leadership and control of the Chief of Chaplains.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree

  • 5 years supporting executive senior level administrative requirements.

  • Prepares project-related correspondence to facilitate client and project staff communication (e.g., notices, memorandums).

  • Coordinates all aspects of group meetings to include managing logistics, providing on-site administrative support, and keeping minutes.

  • Creates and designs presentation formats using advanced graphics.

  • Maintains project records and acts as custodian of project documents and records (e.g., file of deliverable, project reporting records).

  • Performs other administrative services (e.g., reception services, editing, filing, schedule maintenance, data entry).

  • Performs proofreading, editing, and formatting documents including fonts, margins, and style IAW specifications.

  • Creates graphics, produces hard copies for publication.

  • Formats documents to prescribed OCCH specifications including font, margins, style, and other document formatting.

  • Maintains calendars for select organization leadership.

  • Creates and maintains travel arrangements for select organizational leadership including direct coordination with travel service providers and the Defense Travel System (DTS).

  • Directs, organizes, and schedules administrative functions for the organization.

  • Oversees multifunctional support responsibilities such as, but not limited to, administrative functions, data and telecommunications, facilities management, human resources services, insurance, office services, purchasing, security, mail and messenger services, office clerical and support services, printing, and cafeteria services, etc.

  • Develops short- and long-term strategic plans for the department and identifies resources and opportunities for department growth and improvement.

  • Collaborates with organization officials to plan business objectives, to develop organizational policies, and to coordinate functions.

  • Oversees the Administrative Managers or Supervisors.

  • Provides support and assistance to other functions and operating units of the organization.

  • Interprets company policy for employees and enforces company policy and practices.

  • Ensures proficiency in the staffing, supervision, and direction of the administrative staff.

  • Assists in the creation and maintenance of administrative personnel business relationships, acting as a representative of the department to internal and external persons and seeks to cultivate opportunities for business collaboration.

  • Ensures employment compliance with all governmental regulation's personnel and records maintenance.

  • Directs budgetary process support staff, oversees the department budget, and prepares the budget for the department or division.

  • Monitors the revenue and expenses associated with the department, ensuring budgetary compliance and that periodic reporting requirements are met.

  • Graphic design and document formatting technical skills are required.

    Security Requirements: Contractor personnel (to include subcontractors) performing work under this contract shall be capable of obtaining a favorable SECRET Clearance.

    Support Hours: The contractor is responsible for conducting business while the facility is open, between the hours of 0900-1500 Monday thru Friday except Federal holidays or when the Government facility is closed due to local or national emergencies, administrative closings, or similar Government directed facility closings.

    Place of Performance: The work to be performed under this contract will be performed at the Pentagon, Arlington, VA, or nearby Government facilities, unless otherwise approved by the COR. In the event of a local or national emergency, operations may be moved to another local NCR government facility or telework may be authorized. Telework must be preapproved by COR and government lead.

    Travel: The contractor will be required to travel CONUS during the performance of this contract to attend meetings, conferences, and training.
