Amentum SharePoint Developer/Administrator in Warrenton, Virginia

Responsibilities:

  • Design, code, modify, and support SharePoint web applications, from layout to function and according to specifications.

  • Perform complex analysis, design, and development tasks independently.

  • Assist in the optimization of a SharePoint farm.

  • Develop custom web parts and web applications.

  • Tune functionality and edit web config files.

  • Configure SharePoint settings, manage usage confirmation settings and monitor performance levels. • • Provision, administer and maintain sites.

  • Manage security for site, layout and structure.

  • Provide first point-of-contact for end-user issues.

  • Provide installation process for SharePoint sites from one environment to another without impacting existing sites on any given farm.

  • Install the SharePoint platform, integrate applications, and create libraries.

  • Add users, control access to document libraries, and set permissions.

  • Perform maintenance of the SharePoint platform

  • Troubleshoot and resolve SharePoint issues or malfunctions.

  • Provide SharePoint support and end-user training.

  • Review usage and activity reports and make adjustments to ensure optimized user-experiences.

  • Keep up to date with SharePoint developments and perform version updates and upgrades.

  • Must have active Top-Secret clearance with SCI

  • At least 5 years' experience as a SharePoint Developer/Administrator.

  • Knowledge of SharePoint tools, including ULS Logs, workflows, and SharePoint forms for tasks

  • Familiarity in all MS Office products, specifically Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks efficiently.

  • Detail-oriented and able to work independently.

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.

Preferred:

  • Bachelor's Degree in IT related field.

  • IT certifications (e.g., ITIL, CompTIA, Cisco).
