Career pathing flexibility and mobility. Who You Are... As Regional Payroll Administrator, you are responsible for supporting the timely and accurate preparation of branch payroll. This role also executes a variety of business-related support tasks, in order to facilitate the effective and efficient operation of both the corporate and business unit payroll teams. This Position... Some examples of the work you might do includes: Reviews, enters and/or updates payroll-related information for field employees, and performs union reporting, if applicable. Reviews and enters timesheets for field employees, and processes payroll, including weekly payroll checks, direct deposits, and layoff checks, as needed. Coordinates and processes new hire and employee change paperwork, including E-Verify and tracking of Paid Time Off (PTO) for field employees. Assists with ensuring compliance with relevant laws, regulatory reporting requirements, and internal control policies. What You Need... Associate's degree or higher in a related field, OR 2+ years of payroll related job experience (without a degree). Familiarity with Microsoft Office and Google Suite products. Ability to communicate effectively (both verbally and in writing) with diverse audiences. Must be detail oriented and able to handle competing priorities in a fast-paced environment. Strong analytical, research, and organizational skills. Ability to travel up to 5% of the time. Preferred Qualifications: Experience and/or working knowledge of Viewpoint Vista. Experience and/or working knowledge of UKG. Prior experience in a similar (construction) industry. Prior experience with union payroll. Work Environment: This position operates primarily in an office environment, and routinely utilizes standard office equipment, such as computers, phones, copiers, filing cabinets, and printers. Physical Demands: In performing the duties of this job, the incumbent is reg larly required to talk, hear, perform repetitive motion, and possess an appropriate degree of both visual acuity and manual dexterity. This is considered a sedentary position, which means possible exertion up to ten (10) pounds of force occasionally, and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects.
