The Payroll Tax Analyst is responsible for ensuring the Company's ongoing compliance with all federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations. This individual is responsible for analyzing, researching, and resolving issues and addressing related tax inquiries. This individual will specialize in payroll regulatory compliance across all states in which employees reside. Manage the preparation, review, and timely filing of payroll tax activities, consistently ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. Responsible for ensuring the execution of quarter and year-end process is completed - Run payroll tax integrations, research, correct discrepancies and prepare reconciliations. Balancing the deposits and filing of local, state, and federal payroll tax returns, including annual filings. Represent the Payroll Tax as a subject matter expert on company-wide projects Lead small payroll tax projects, from the creation of timelines, facilitation of meetings, take notes and follow up and confirm completion of tasks. W-2 processing, including quarter-end and year-end adjustments and amendments. Perform tax research for transactional tax matters; notices received from local, state, and federal government tax authorities, third party vendors, and internal customers.

Who You Are: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field. Minimum of 3 years of progressive payroll tax experience multi-state employee base Advanced Excel Skills (Pivot tables, VLookUps) Ability to lead multiple tasks, work independently, critical thinking, set priorities, problem-solve, and make decisions and follow-through Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to relay complex information succinctly Ability to analyze large volumes of data and make data-driven decisions and recommendations ADP SmartCompliance expertise Why Westinghouse?
