Description We are seeking a Claims Admin Support Specialist based in Warren Park, Indiana. This role is critical in the industry as it involves performing a range of clerical duties in line with standard procedures. The role offers a long term contract employment opportunity. The successful candidate will interact with various internal and external contacts, coordinate office operations, and handle document maintenance among other duties.
Responsibilities:
• Engage with various stakeholders including customers, vendors, medical providers, attorneys, and law enforcement agencies through phone and mail.
• Direct and screen incoming telephone calls.
• Oversee the maintenance and updating of office supplies.
• Operate and maintain office equipment such as fax, printing and copying machines.
• Coordinate office shredding with vendors.
• Manage document maintenance - create, retrieve, and deliver files and copy documents.
• Compose routine correspondence as required.
• Receive and direct visitors and resolve routine inquiries.
• Open, sort and distribute mail from USPS, FedEx, and other delivery companies.
• Perform other support duties such as setting up meetings, coordinating record retention, and additional searches, research, and reporting as requested by leadership.
• Undertake occasional travel as part of the role. Requirements • Proficiency in customer service and office functions
• Experience in generating reports and following procedures
• Demonstrated leadership skills
• Ability to liaise with vendors and manage claim administration
• Familiarity with clerical duties including scanning documents, printing, faxing, and copying
• Willingness to travel as per job requirements
• Basic knowledge of machinery and laptop hardware
• Experience in research analysis and R code is desirable
• Understanding of disability benefits procedures
• Ability to handle FedEx operations
• Physical ability to perform lifting tasks
• Responsible for distributing incoming mail
• Experience in law enforcement is a plus
• Ability to work under direct supervision
• Proficient keyboard skills
• Ability to communicate effectively with medical providers
