Role and Responsibilities

Responsible for performing inspections of various natures to ensure a quality product is being sold to our customers.

• Determine inspection needs based off blueprints, drawings and written procedures.
• Perform daily quality inspections by utilizing standard measuring tools such as: Micrometers, calipers, scales, optical comparators, voltmeters, electronic testers and microscopes.
• Report quality defects to the Quality Supervisor.  If the supervisor is not available, report issues to the Quality Manager.
• Complete reports, travelers and rejection notices as required.
• Help out in other departments when necessary.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Comply with all company policies.
• Maintain a hostile free environment.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

Experience with electronic measuring equipment. (Micrometers, voltmeters, etc.)

Possess above average mathematical skills.

High school diploma or GED.

Legally able to work in the United States.

Pass a criminal background check.

Preferred Skills

Previous experience conducting quality inspections.

This position requires a highly motivated, organized person with the ability to work independently while conducting tests on microscopic products with minimal supervision.  You must possess a positive, patient attitude, and be very detail oriented.  This position requires sitting for long periods of time.
