Robert Half Accounts Payable Representative: II (Intermediate) in Warren, Minnesota
Description
We are in search of an Accounts Payable Representative to join our team based in Warren, Minnesota. In this role, you will be instrumental in supporting our finance operations by managing our procure-to-pay processes, contributing to process improvements, and effectively liaising with various stakeholders. This position offers a contract to permanent employment opportunity.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee the accurate processing of invoices and ensure that payments are made promptly.
• Be the point of contact for resolving complex issues that have been escalated.
• Confirm the precision of data entered in the Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable System from source documents, complete necessary coding, and make any necessary corrections.
• Contribute to process improvements in our invoicing and collection procedures.
• Maintain a system for tracking the receipt of data and source documents.
• Review client documentation to ensure that it is set up correctly in our systems and complies with our accounting procedures.
• Prepare and sort source documents and interpret the data to be entered.
• Engage with those who prepared the source documents to address any questions, inconsistencies, or missing data.
• Ensure that client files are complete and accurately maintained.
• Undertake additional duties and responsibilities as required.

Requirements • Demonstrable experience in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Proficiency in Office Functions, including filing and documentation
• Strong Customer Service skills with a focus on Client Relations
• Familiarity with Compliance Procedures in a finance setting
• Proven ability in Invoice and Payment Processing
• Experience with Quality Review of financial documents and processes
• Understanding of Hiring and Collection Processes
• Ability to Perform Ad Hoc Financial tasks as needed
• Experience in handling Deposits and Receipts
• Proficiency in Coding relevant to the finance sector
• Knowledge of 'About Time' software or similar time-tracking tools
• Excellent Communication Skills, both verbal and written
• Experience working with a variety of Stakeholders
• Familiarity with Vendor management
• Proven ability to drive Process Improvement initiatives.
