Army Tank-Automotive and Armament Command (TACOM) Supervisory Financial Management Analyst in Warren, Michigan

About the Position: Serves as a supervisory financial management analyst and technical expert and assists in setting administrative and operation priorities for the team. Responsibilities Serves as supervisor for professional financial management analysts and accountants. Ensure systems are operating correctly in accordance with established policy. Work directly with systems accountants and programmers to ensure system provides the required data and reports. Review reports prior to issuance to assure that reports reflect appropriate and consistent data. Establish instructions for balancing and reviewing reports. Analyze data from manual and automated ledgers, books of original entry, and random samples of transactions and related reports. Specialized Experience: Your resume must reflect one year of specialized experience equivalent to the NH-03/GS-13 pay band in the Federal Service which includes: (1) Utilizing financial databases to create financial reports; (2) Reviewing financial management policies and regulations that may impact the Command; (3) Assigning work to team members based on technical knowledge to ensure desired results are being met; and (4) Coordinating with specialists to develop corrective approaches to identified problems. You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Communications Financial Concepts, Policies, and Principles Financial Management Systems Human Capital Management Planning and Evaluating Education Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted. Additional Information Male applicants born after December 31, 1959, must complete a Pre-Employment Certification Statement for Selective Service Registration.
