Waltonen Project Manager - Tooling in Warren, Michigan

Waltonen Engineering is actively seeking a Project Manager to join our team!

Responsibilities

  • Manage projects related to the design of automotive tooling

  • Direct other designers and team members to ensure project success

  • Monitor and execute project timelines to meet deliverables

  • Delegate project tasks and ensure team members are prepared for success

  • Track progress and review project tasks to ensure deadlines are met

  • Maintain and update the engineering change log and open issues list

  • Be willing to travel to customer locations as needed

  • Utilize Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) on a daily basis

    Qualifications

  • Successful experience in a Project Management/Lead role, serving as the main customer contact

  • Background in tooling

  • Body In White (BIW) experience

  • Strong organization and prioritization skills

  • 3D CAD Design knowledge and experience

  • Willingness to work overtime as necessary, with adaptability to fluctuating workloads

    Preferred Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Teamcenter and NX

  • Previous budget/financial responsibility for projects

  • Associate’s degree or higher in Vehicle Design, Engineering, or a related field
