ManTech Model Based Systems Engineer / DoDAF Architect in Warren, Michigan
Description & Requirements
ManTech is seeking a Model-Based Systems Engineer/DoDAF Architect to serve as a technical expert in the acquisition of new systems and leverage expertise in Systems Engineering and Systems Architecture to generate and model systems requirements as well as the Functional, Logical, Structural and Behavioral views of the system. This will support our USMC MAGTF systems capabilities contract out of Warren, MI.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Promote and educate stakeholders on the use and value of MBSE and Systems Architecture.
Coordinate and facilitate Architecture and MBSE-related technical and strategy discussions
Develop SysML Digital Engineering Models and Marine Corps compliant, DoDAF Architecture systems engineering artifacts in preparation for various acquisition milestones
Author and implement program Model Governance Plan for effective cross model data exchanges within the program office, Marine Corps and potential vendors delivering designs
Provide technical subject matter expertise to program office and contractors regarding MBSE development projects
Facilitate and participate in the collaborative process of identifying and capturing MBSE data with engineers and technical subject matter experts.
Prepare and maintain technical systems or program documentation, comment resolution matrices, presentations, and training material.
Leverage MBSE best practices to address program and project issues.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree in a Scientific, Engineering, or Technical area and at least 4 years of MBSE related experience. Additional 4 years of experience can be substituted in lieu of degree.
MBSE experience must be within the last 10 years and include the following:
Digital Engineering development and analysis
Extensive experience with one or more of the following: MagicDraw, Innoslate, or Genesys
Familiarity with one or more of the following: SysML, UAF, or DODAF.
Preferred Qualifications:
Have knowledge of Marine Corps Systems Engineering Processes, including the relationship between Marine Corps Systems Command (MCSC), PEO Land Systems, Combat Development and Integration (CD&I) in Marine Corps systems acquisition.
Familiar with the MCSC Acquisition Guidebook, MCSC Systems Engineering and Technical Review handbook and IEEE 15288 Systems and software engineering
Technical education related to any of the following: data modeling, systems engineering, machine learning and predictive analysis, agile software development and build methodologies, or simulation.
Knowledge of Marine Corps concepts, practices, procedures, systems, and interfaces.
Joint Capabilities and Integration and Development System (JCIDS) and the Defense Acquisition System process experience
Security Clearance Required:
- Secret with the ability to obtain Top Secret
