Job Title: Maintenance Manager

Job Description

• We are seeking a Maintenance Manager to oversee all maintenance activities, ensuring minimal mechanical downtime and leading the maintenance department

Responsibilities

• Allocate workload and supervise upkeep staff (custodians, janitors, etc.)

• Keep maintenance logs and report on daily activities including historical machine data

• Monitor equipment inventory and place orders when necessary

• Carry out inspections of the facilities to identify and resolve issues

• Develop and implement maintenance procedures

• Manage relationships with contractors and service providers

• Stay updated on the latest technology

• Ensure compliance with health and safety policies

• Plan and oversee all repair and installation activities

• Hire, fire, coach, and train maintenance staff

• Implement Lean Manufacturing, KPI's, and 5S methodologies

• Manage discipline and actions within the team

• Handle payroll, timekeeping, and task assignments

• Schedule and address Preventive Maintenance Program

Essential Skills

• 5+ years in a supervisory/managerial position

• 10+ years as a maintenance technician, including 5+ years working on CNC machines

• Advanced knowledge of CNC maintenance (troubleshooting, repairs, gears, motors, valves, etc.)

• Proficiency in hydraulics, pneumatics, PLC troubleshooting, and electrical systems

• Experience and knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and KPI's

• Expertise in Preventive Maintenance programs and their execution

• Ability to train and coach team members hands-on

Shift

1st Shift: 7:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Monday - Friday

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $130000.00/yr.
