General Motors Company Lead Systems Capability Engineer in Warren, Michigan

Lead Systems Capability Engineer, Warren, MI, General Motors. Engineer, design, develop, integrate into embedded Electronic Control Unit (ECU), verify, debug, validate, release, and continuously improve conventional ICE passenger vehicle, Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV) and Autonomous Vehicle (AV) Advanced Drive Assistance Systems (ADAS) Compute Platform (ACP) Adaptive Response (AR) Capability (to perform driver and occupant in-cabin monitoring (including Human Machine Interface (HMI), utilizing sensor sets including LIDAR, RADAR, driver monitoring system (DMS), and cameras, in MATLAB, Simulink, and Python programming languages, using IBM Rational DOORS, DOORS NG, Git, Gerrit, Jenkins, Jira, Jama, FIT, ETAS INCA and Vector CANalyzer tools, following Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe). Develop and execute AR capabilities for manual, assisted, and automated driving scenarios for all passenger vehicles, fleet, and commercial vehicles distributed in North America, Europe, China, Korea, Australia and New Zealand. Collaborate with GM Brand leaders to identify results from data campaigns, forecast customer needs for future model years. Define, design, and improve Adaptive Response (AR) Capability systems to detect driver and occupant state including driver distraction, in-attentiveness, drowsiness, and potential impairment, and un-responsive drivers (sudden sickness/medical event) to ensure safety, security and protection of all vehicle occupants. Master, Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related.
