Job Title: Customer Care Specialist
Job Description
As a Customer Care Specialist, you will utilize exceptional customer service, marketing, and sales techniques to support existing and prospective electric vehicle (EV) owners. You will deliver an exceptional customer experience while building lasting relationships between the customer, the original equipment manufacturer (OEM), and their brands. Your daily tasks will include answering product questions, discussing charging options, assisting with product orders or reservations, setting up dealership appointments, and responding to customer concerns with personalized, value-driven solutions.
Responsibilities
Serve as the product expert for the current EV product lineup, additional EVs in the future, and all associated products/services.
Assist customers via chat, phone, and email with product, reservation, ordering, dealership, service, home-charging, and recall-related questions.
Take ownership of customer interaction and ensure that all customer questions are answered.
Strive to improve customer satisfaction, productivity, and efficiency by making beneficial recommendations.
Quickly learn EV products and use that knowledge to answer customer questions on features and specifications.
Work within company systems and personnel, utilizing provided tools to perform the job.
Transfer learnings from one call to the next, synthesizing customer inputs, distilling issues, and recommending solutions.
Essential Skills
1-2 years of experience in a customer service-related profession.
Proficiency in computer navigation and typing.
Strong reading comprehension, oral and written communication skills.
Ability to meet/exceed deadlines, organizational skills, excellent interpersonal skills, and strong attention to detail.
Strategic agility/acumen.
Basic understanding of electric vehicles and home charging options.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience in a call center environment or customer service setting.
Ability to filter/process customer profiles and think differently about their perspectives and issues.
Bachelor's Degree is not required; an Associate's degree is preferred.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.50/hr.
