Job Description Summary Night Shift 2 The Relief Process Operator II will be trained and qualified to cover multiple operator positions on shift, including Main Line Fryer, Form Line Process Operator, Hashbrown Process Operator. This is not a backup position; it is a permanent position that will cover various areas based on daily need. In addition to covering various operational areas of the plant, the Relief Operator II will be involved in Lamb Weston VeLOCity activities and will be responsible for assisting in the development and implementation of continuous improvement programs and tools, and for conducting health checks on current installations. Job Description Fryer Operator: responsible for the operation of the fryer, and related systems. The fryer operator has primary responsibility for oil quality and inventory, and for product quality with regard to solids, color, and texture. Form Line Process Operator: operates the Form Line while ensuring personal and co-worker safety to produce food-safe formed potato products that meet or exceed customer expectations at budgeted rates processing standards and techniques Hashbrown Processing Operator: responsible for operating blancher, chiller, shredder, and dextrose areas to ensure to ensure consistent production output & quality are maintained. Essential Duties and Responsibilities in the following; other duties may be assigned. * Actively be engaged in safety, participate in daily risk assessments, safety activities, and demonstrate ownership as well as leadership in personal safety and the safety of other team members. * Actively practice and abide by all company work, safety, and personal hygiene rules and regulations as outlined in the employee handbook. * Report all incidents, near misses, and any safety concerns immediately to Lead/Team Leader. * Be an active participant in LOC/Continuous Improvement activities and teams. * Ensure all standard work is completed for assigned area for the day. * Document and communicate necessary raw changes to Lead/Team Leader. * Setup, adjust, and monitor sizing, peeling, defect removal and frying equipment. * Setup, monitor and adjust equipment to meet quality standards (AQL). * Perform sanitation work as necessary to include general cleaning and organization of area working in. * Perform major cleanup activities as assigned.
