Manager Nursing Education and Professional Practice, DVH United Health Services is seeking a Manager Nursing Education and Professional Practice to join our Training 09 department at DVH in Walton, NY. This position is benefits eligible.

Overview
The Manager Nursing Education plans, organizes, leads, directs and evaluates clinical programs that include but are not limited to professional development, quality, practice, regulatory compliance and research. In collaboration with the Physician Practice Clinical Team, Medical Directors and Operational Leaders insures that required education and ongoing skill development is accessible for all clinical areas and meets the learning objectives for the adult learner with demonstrated knowledge retention. Integrates research and evidence-based practice into clinical, operational and IT processes across UHS System.
Qualifications
Education/Experience
Minimum Required:
Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing
Bachelors of Science degree in Nursing or related field
At least five (5) years of progressive, responsible relevant clinical, educational, and leadership/management experience
Preferred:
Masters of Science degree in Nursing
Previous experience in Nursing Staff Development
Professional nursing certification in Professional Development
License/Certification
Minimum Required:
- Current New York State Registered Nurse license
