Eaton Asphalt Paving Co., Inc., Walton, KY. Daily transportation provided from a central location to and from worksites or employee may report directly to worksite in the following counties: Boone, Bracken, Campbell, Gallatin, Grant, Kenton, Owen, Pendleton, Scott in KY; Brown, Butler, Clermont, Hamilton, Warren in OH; Dearborn, Ohio, Union in IN. 18 Construction Laborer positions available. Temporary, full time position from 04/01/2025 through 11/30/2025, 6:30 am-6:00 pm, 50 hrs/week, Additional overtime varies, Monday-Friday, Schedule varies, start/end times vary, occasional Saturdays. Workers will be paid Weekly at $25.43/hr, $38.15/hr OT, Wage may be higher based on Kentucky KYTC wage requirements. Health benefits available first of the month following 30 days of employment. Will assist our foreman in commercial construction for excavating and paving projects. Will lift, carry and hold building materials, tools and supplies and clean tools, equipment, material and work areas. Pre-employment drug testing required; Drug testing during employment for cause; Post-Accident Drug Testing; Random drug testing during employment. All drug testing is performed without regard to an employee’s citizenship or immigration status, and all testing is paid for by the company. Pre-hire background check required. All background checks are performed equally as to U.S. workers and H-2B workers, and all fees are paid for by the company. Able to lift 30lbs. No experience required, will train. Employer may make payroll deductions at employee's request. Employer facilitates corresponding deductions for available health benefits. Employer facilitates voluntary housing arrangements along with corresponding payroll deduction of approximately $250/month per person. A single workweek will be used to compute wages due. All deductions from the worker's paycheck required by law will be made. The employer will provide workers at no charge all tools, supplies and equipment required to perform the job. If the worker completes 50 percent of the work contract period, employer will reimburse the worker for initial transportation and subsistence costs from the place of recruitment to the place of employment for those traveling from such a distance they are not reasonably able to return to their residence each day. Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, employer will provide or pay for worker’s reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of $15.88 per day during travel to a maximum of $59.00 per day with receipts. H2B workers will be reimbursed in the first workweek for all visa, visa processing, border crossing, & other related fees, including those mandated by the government (excluding passport fees).
