Job Title: Propane Tank Refurbishment Specialist

Position Summary: The Propane Tank Refurbishment Specialist is responsible for inspecting, refurbishing, and ensuring the safe operation of propane tanks and cylinders. This role requires working in various weather conditions and following strict safety protocols to ensure high-quality standards are met.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspection: Examine propane tanks and cylinders for defects, wear, and compliance with safety standards.

• Refurbishment: Repair or replace damaged components, repaint, and perform other refurbishment tasks to extend the life of the tanks.

• Safety Testing: Conduct hydrostatic testing, leak testing, and other safety checks to ensure tanks are safe for use.

• Record Keeping: Maintain detailed records of inspections, repairs, and tests performed.

• Compliance: Ensure all work adheres to industry regulations and safety guidelines.

• Team Collaboration: Work closely with other team members to ensure efficient operations and continuous improvement of refurbishment processes.

• Environmental Conditions: Work outdoors in various weather conditions, including extreme heat, cold, and precipitation.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Experience in a technical or mechanical role, preferably with propane or hazardous materials.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.

• Ability to work outdoors in diverse weather conditions.

• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift and move heavy objects.

• Comfortable working in confined spaces and at various heights.

• Dexterity to use hand tools and equipment.
