How will you make an impact?

The GM-GLDP Program Manager leads our flagship MBA program, which provides a critical talent pool of future General Managers for our Company.

Focusing on leadership capability development activities, delivered through rotational on-the-job experiences, formal learning events and coaching and mentoring, this role ensures a meaningful on-program experience that helps build GM-relevant skills, and for devising and leading post-program career and development activities that keep alumni engaged and progressing through the organization.

What will you do?

Acting as the ‘face’ of GM-GLDP in the Company, on a typical day you'll collaborate closely with Senior Executives, HR and Talent Leaders and other partners to champion the program, ensure the career success of current and past participants, and continuously improve learning outcomes to meet evolving business needs.

You will work closely with University Relations and Business Leaders to build a compelling EVP and select high potential talent to join. You will mentor Assignment Managers to craft and deliver high impact, GM capability focused on-the-job learning experiences, and develop and deliver formal learning through both instructor-led and self-directed channels.

Day to day, you will handle the on-program experience of participants, ensuring effective onboarding and performance management activities take place throughout, and own the GM-GLDP budget, including delivering compensation reviews, travel and learning events within budget.

You will also act as a career coach and mentor, ensuring participants and alumni are fulfilling their potential and progressing their careers.

How will you get here?

We're looking for someone who can bring a passion for talent development and career advancement to the team! You will ideally have some exposure working with high potential programs, rotational programs, or mid-career leadership programs. You will be a natural collaborator, able to balance multiple partners and priorities by establishing clear communication mechanisms and plans. You will have strong business insight, and use that to shape a point of view about the strategy and structure of the program, influencing Leaders and program participants and alumni to make the right decisions with respect to learning and career opportunities.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources or a related field (a higher degree is highly regarded).

Experience

Meaningful experience leading high-touch, cohort based rotational and/or leadership development programs in a large organization, and mentoring high potential talent. Some exposure to university recruitment would be very highly regarded.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

Familiarity with Human Resources practices and procedures and experience with employee relations. Outstanding executive presentation skills, including the ability to compile persuasive virtual presentation materials. Strong organization skills and ability to adapt to shifting priorities.

Excellent business insight, with experience in establishing credibility with key internal and external partners. Proficiency in MS Office and related business and communication tools, and comfort with data analysis and insights, is a must.
