Description We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for an AP Staff Accountant at our location in Waltham, Massachusetts. This role plays a pivotal part in our biotech/pharmaceutical sector, focusing on maintaining accurate financial records and managing vendor relations.

Responsibilities:

• Efficiently handle accounts payable duties to ensure smooth financial operations.

• Perform bank reconciliations to maintain accurate financial records.

• Manage vendor relations, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing.

• Leverage Excel proficiency to track, analyze and report financial data.

• Ensure accuracy and attention to detail in all accounting tasks.

• Utilize accounting software such as NetSuite, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP to streamline financial operations.

• Conduct monthly close procedures and generate journal entries.

• Maintain the general ledger, ensuring all financial data is up-to-date and accurate.

• Leverage experience in the biotech or pharmaceutical industry to navigate industry-specific financial challenges.

• Handle accounts receivable duties, ensuring all incoming payments are accurately recorded and processed. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) management and processing

• Experience with Accounts Receivable (AR) procedures

• Demonstrated skill in conducting Bank Reconciliations

• Familiarity with maintaining and updating the General Ledger

• Ability to prepare and review Journal Entries with accuracy

• Experience with Month End Close procedures

• Knowledge of NetSuite financial software

• Proficiency in using Oracle financial management system

• Experience with QuickBooks accounting software

• Familiarity with SAP financial software
