Job Description: The Contract Administrator is responsible for managing, preparing, reviewing, and coordinating contracts and programs. This role involves ensuring compliance with federal regulations, monitoring contract performance, mitigating risks, and facilitating effective communication between the contractor and government agencies. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS), along with experience in handling government contracts. Position Responsibilities: Contract Management: Act as the primary point of contact for communication with government representatives and clients regarding contract status, modifications, and issues. Respond to inquiries, coordinate with government contract officers, and facilitate the resolution of disputes. Review, analyze, and interpret contracts, including terms and conditions, pricing, deliverables, and compliance requirements. Ensure that contracts comply with legal and regulatory requirements. Monitor contract performance, track milestones, and enforce contractual obligations. Negotiate contract terms and modifications as needed. Prepare and submit and complete and accurate contract deliverables to the customer. Quality control and track all contract deliverables. Maintain thorough documentation of contract changes, amendments, and all relevant communications. Program Analysis: Analyze program goals, objectives, and outcomes to measure effectiveness and make recommendations for improvement. Develop and maintain program metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs). Prepare reports and presentations to communicate program status and results to stakeholders. Vendor Management: Collaborate with vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure they meet contractual obligations. Evaluate vendor performance and address any issues or disputes. Create Subcontract Agreements and Subcontract Modifications Create Purchase Orders Create Non-Disclosure Agreements and Teaming Agreements Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Business, Finance, or Public Administration. Will consider an additional 4+ years of experience in lieu of degree Working knowledge of FAR, DFAR, or government acquisition regulations Experience with government contracting. Experience managing cost-type or firm fixed price (FFP) procurement contract types, experience with Other Transactions is a plus Experience working with MS Office Suite and Adobe Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
