Days and Hours:
Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm
Salary Description: $74,880.00 - $1000,000 / yr.
Benefits for Full Time Employees:
Salary Range $74,880/yr - $100,000/yr dependent on expereince

Responsibilities
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Creates 3D models of parts and prototypes using Solidworks software.
Generates 2D prints using AutoCAD for part prints and tool designs.
Feasibility assessment of specifications, new part designs and tooling.
Completing cost estimate worksheets (CEW’s) and engineering change notifications (ECN’s).
Assist with developing manufacturing processes by studying product requirements, researching, designing, modifying, and testing manufacturing methods and equipment conferring with equipment vendors as needed.
Conducts research to determine equipment and parts availability, manufacturability, ease of assembly, and cost of specified projects.
Assures product and process quality by designing testing methods as needed; establishing standards; confirming manufacturing process.
Identifies causes of process instability and recommends solutions.
Other non-essential duties may be assigned as necessary.
Follow all relevant Quality and / or Environmental standards to which Fair Rite is certified.
Follow all O.S .H.A. standards and the F/R Safety and Health Policy.
Qualifications
Preferred Education / Experience Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Ceramic Engineering or related field from an accredited college; minimum three years related work experience
Ceramic Engineer or similar role is preferred
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Knowledge of ceramic materials, processes, and product development
Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software
Ability to read and interpret technical documents such as Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T)
Ability to work successfully with various teams/departments
Strong communication/presentation skills, both written and verbal
Solid statistical analysis ability including SPC
Accuracy and organizational skills with great attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
Ability to use independent judgment and discretion; must approach situations with unbiased
and mature attitude
