ProHealth Physicians is a physician-led medical group with 85 practice locations throughout Connecticut serving more than 10% of the state's residents. We empower physicians and advanced clinicians to better serve patients through enhanced care processes in support of improved patient outcomes. Formed in 1997, ProHealth Physicians has grown to include more than 350 primary care and specialty clinicians and offers select specialty and diagnostic/therapeutic services.

The schedule for this role is: Tuesday-Friday 4:30pm-9:30pm.

Operates a company owned vehicle for the purpose of delivery and transport of all ProHealth materials and patient samples to and from all offices throughout the State of Connecticut. Works together as a team with all employees of ProHealth Physicians in an effort to improve its services to the customer base. Assumes responsibilities for completing route assignments in a safe and timely fashion.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Operate a company owned vehicle following all of the State laws and company policies and procedures

  • Keep the car clean inside and outside

  • Deliver and pick up mail and supplies to the medical offices and corporate office

  • Pick up specimens and store in the appropriate ambient temperature and transport to the lab in a timely manner

  • Fill out route sheet completely and accurately

  • Fill out sign in sheet accurately with return time and # of specimens

  • Responsible for performing daily safety checks on the vehicle and ensure all items necessary for proper storage of materials are packed before departure

  • Have a phone with you and the phone # on the sign in sheet. Answer or return phone call in a timely manner

  • Ensure all materials are accounted for and deliveries to proper said point

  • Is polite, courteous, and respectful when dealing with all customers

  • After returning to the lab make sure your specimen count matches what the processors count Ensure cleanliness of vehicle inside and out and is fueled up for the following day

  • Must be flexible to scheduling needs of the company

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or acceptable GED results

  • Clean motor vehicle driving record

  • Demonstrated basic computer knowledge

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience as a company courier/driver

Connecticut Residents Only: The hourly range for this role is $16.00 to $23.94 per hour. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
