The MA I works under the delegation of a licensed practitioner to perform duties as directed to assist in providing basic patient care to assigned patients. Basic patient care needs will be met though both administrative and clinical duties. An MA I is expected to perform in accordance with established policies, procedures, and regulations. The MA II works under the delegation of a licensed practitioner to perform duties as directed to assist in providing patient care to assigned patients. A MA II performs all aspects of the MA I role and is fully competent in the clinical needs/functions for assigned clinic/location of work. An MA II is expected to perform in accordance with established policies, procedures, and regulations. $3,000 Sign-on Bonus for eligible rehire and external candidates who meet all conditions for payment - this is in addition to the fantastic benefits and compensation package offered by Providence that begin on your first day of employment. Associate Medical Assistant Required Qualifications: Washington Medical Assistant Certification upon hire National Provider BLS - American Heart Association within 30 days of hire Medical assisting experience in a clinic setting (0-6 months) Preferred Qualifications: Coursework/Training: Graduate of accredited school for medical assistants or alternate training program 6 months of prior experience providing a high level of customer service in a fast paced environment. 6 months of previous experience in a healthcare setting working with an Electronic Health record (EHR). Associate Medical Assistant, Salary Range: Walla Walla, WA Min: $17.06, Max: $26.07 Most candidates can expect a starting pay of $20.50/hr or higher depending on experience. Medical Assistant Required Qualifications: Coursework/Training: Graduate of accredited school for medical assistants, or an equivalent combination of coursework, experience/training to qualify to sit for the WA State Certification exam Washington Medical Assistant Certification upon hire National Provider BLS - American Heart Association within 30 days of hire 6 months of Healthcare experience 6 months of Medical Assistant experience Preferred Qualifications: Coursework/Training: Graduate of accredited school for medical assistants, or an equivalent combination of coursework, experience/training to qualify to sit for a National Certification exam Upon hire: National Medical Assistant Certification Medical Assistant, Salary Range: Walla Walla, WA Min: $19.38, Max: $29.61 Most candidates can expect a starting pay of $21.75/hr or higher depending on experience.
