WWC Physicians PC Internal Medicine - LICSW / LMHC / Equivalent in Walla Walla, Washington

The Walla Walla Clinic offers the following benefits:

·         Insurances: Employees consistently working 30 or more hours per week are eligible for medical, dental, vision, hospital confinement, life, disability insurances after satisfying the waiting period.

·         Retirement: Voluntary contributions to the 401k and/or Roth plans after six-month waiting period. The Clinic matches up to 5% of eligible salary after one year of employment and a minimum 1,000 hours of service. A discretionary annual profit-sharing contribution is also available for eligible employees.

·         Time Off Benefit:

Paid Time Off (PTO): Full-time and part-time (part-time is prorated) employees will begin accruing upon hire date. Waiting period of 90 days. PTO amounts for 40-hour employees are 23 days (184 hours). Maximum annual carryover of 240 hours.

WA Paid Sick Leave: All employees accrue one hour of paid sick leave for every 40 hours worked. Waiting period of 90 days. Maximum rollover is 40 hours per year.

Extended Sick Time (EST): Full-time and part-time (part-time is prorated) employees will begin accruing upon hire date. Waiting period of 90 days.  EST hours may be used for illness or injury after an absence of three consecutive working days. WA Paid Sick Leave and/or PTO, if available, will be used during this waiting period. Maximum accumulation of 480 hours.

·         Bonuses: The Clinic typically offers an annual bonus based on hours worked.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Interest in participating in an innovative, collaborative, integrated primary care and behavioral health model. The ability to be creative and develop relationships with community and clinic providers to support and grow the program. Create your own autonomy while working as a team to support each other and patients.
  • Works collectively with primary care providers and other members of the care continuum to ensure patients have the support they need. Consults with providers in real time to assist patients with psychosocial issues. This is frequently done as a "warm hand off."
  • Assists the primary care provider in recognizing, treating, and managing mental health and psychosocial issues and acts as a contributing member to the team.
  • Triages both scheduled and immediate referrals from the medical teams to evaluate needs for short, long, or acute intervention.
  • Demonstrates competence in brief assessment, crisis management, triage, diagnosis, as well as co-occurring disorders.
  • Promotes and maintains health by providing direct and indirect patient care appropriate to their training, experience and skills.
  • According to evidenced-based practice, evaluates and treats patients of all ages within their scope of practice.
  • Advises caregivers and patients of treatment options and incorporates caregivers and patient input into treatment plan.
  • Provide individual and/or group therapy in accordance to clinician developed care plan.
  • Utilizes Electronic Medical Record (EMR) in concordance with HIPPA and other compliance requirements.
  • Participate in meetings as related to care coordination, case consult, and department needs.

     

Qualifications and Education Requirements

Education: Required: Master's level degree in Social Work, Counseling Psychology, or Psychology.
