Spectrum Plastics Master Tooling Technician in Wall, New Jersey

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented tool technician to join our team. The tool technician is responsible for the maintaining, cleaning, repairing, and managing/organizing of tools used in manufacturing , or other technical processes. This role ensures that all tools are functioning properly, accurately, and available according to the production schedule and when needed to support smooth operations. Key responsibilities: • Ability to read and interpret drawings and prints. • Ability to operate equipment based on oral instructions and training methods • Ability to use measuring tools like calipers, wall micrometers, laser micrometers, Rulers etc, to confirm work piece dimensions. • Ability of trouble shooting of tool/equipment issues • Ability of clear communication with others • Sufficient math skills to calculate dimensions, OD, ID, length etc. • Responsible for keeping own immediate work area in a neat and orderly condition to ensure safety of self and co-workers • Responsible for aiding in own self-development by being available and receptive to all training made available by the company • May help to investigate, resolve equipment and/or quality issues. • Basic computer skills.

Qualifications

Physical requirements: be able to lift at least 50 pounds.
